The campaign was associated with animation of local communities around the schools to tackle climate changes. Schools that was related to the program Schools for Sustainable Development (SDE) are valuable and active educational institutions in Poland, but the majority of our population wasn't included in the action, they was passive even if they saw the need for changes in their environment. On the basis of SDE, we planned promoting innovative methods of managing public lands in Poland. This method requires active participation of local society. The methodology associated with the management of public spaces will be incorporated into the offer for schools that are leaders in local activities and projects connected with education and promotion activities related to biodiversity, promote energy saving and renewable energy, waste management and water resource management, and checking all theirs impact through the Carbon Footprint Calculator on ekoszkola.pl. The whole action is supported by educational materials about management.
